Description
To overcome the cost overruns for Establishing Women and Children Service Centers in Nepal, ADB approached the Department for International Development (DFID) for additional financing to make up for the shortfall in the cost of construction of the women and children service centers (WCSCs). DFID responded by committing $195,894 in cofinancing, which will support completion of the remaining three WCSCs. The additional $195,894 contribution from DFID will increase the overall project cost from $820,500 to $1,016,394. The rest of the funding allocation will remain unchanged.
