Description
This resettlement plan for the Kaysone Phomvihane subproject under the Greater Mekong Subregion Corridor Towns Development project in Lao PDR containing time-bound actions and budgets, for the project components which have involuntary resettlement. This document represents a key requirement of ADB and will constitute the basis for land acquisition, compensation and resettlement.
The three subprojects for urban roads improvement, wastewater treatment and drainage, and Mekong River embankment protection are located in thirteen villages and will affect will affect a total of 290 households (AHs) (including one institution) and 1,445 people (APs) including 682 males and 763 females. The AHs includes 51 households that are headed by women.
