Description

This impact evaluation study proposal for the related projects PNG-Extending the Socioeconomic Benefits of an Improved Road Network to Roadside Communities (Grant 9130, ongoing); SOL-Road Improvement Project and Second Road Improvement Project (Grant 0048/0049/0050, ongoing), Second Road Improvement Project (Grant 0175/0176/0177/0207/0210, ongoing), and Transport Sector Development Project (Grant 0243, ongoing); TIMRoad Sector Improvement Project (Grant 0017, complete) and Supporting Local Governance and Community-Based Infrastructure Works (Grant 9142, ongoing), is prepared under RDTA 7680: Implementing Impact Evaluation at ADB. The proposed impact evaluation focuses on the use of labor-based (LB) methods for maintenance and rehabilitation of unpaved rural roads in a number of projects of the Pacific Developing Member Countries.
