| Date: | April 2012 |
| Country: | |
| Subject: | |
| Document Type: | Reports and Recommendations of the President |
| Project Number: | 43566-013 |
Description
Report and recommendation of the President describing terms and conditions proposed for the Inclusive Micro, Small, and Medium-Sized Enterprise Development Project in the Maldives, for the approval of the Board of Directors of ADB.
The project will promote economic inclusion in the Maldives by bolstering economic activities, including in remote islands, through more opportunities and access to finance for micro, small, and medium-sized enterprises (MSMEs) and thereby contribute to private sector development and overall economic growth. This will be achieved through stronger business development infrastructure, better access to market information, and broader access to finance.
