Description
The TA aimed to help promote private sector growth by creating an enabling environment to facilitate the development of a more competitive and sound enterprise sector that also protects the interests of consumers. To achieve this, the TA was to assist the State Committee on Demonopolization and Competition Development (CDCD) in: (i) developing a comprehensive strategy to promote competition, (ii) moving toward behavior-based regulation, and (iii) improving the regulation of natural monopolies.
