Description
This completion report for the Liaoning Environmental Improvement Project in the People's Republic of China evaluates design, implementation and performance of the project, and provides an overall assessment and recommendations.
The project is a major part of the effort of the government of Liaoning province (GLP) to improve the air quality in all major cities to meet the national air quality standards. Its theme was classified as environmental sustainability, and the subthemes were global and regional transboundary environmental concerns and issues, clean production, and control of industrial pollution. The long-term goal of the project was to support environmental improvement in Liaoning Province.
