Description
This draft Summary Initial Environmental Examination (SIEE) report for the National Power Grid Development Investment Program (the Investment Program) in India analyzes the environmental impacts that may occur during the construction and operation of projects undertaken as part of the proposed Investment Program.The Program will improve reliability and security in this region and transmit additional power generated from the region by establishment of a high capacity transmission system emanating from the NE region.
