Description

Ningxia is a Hui autonomous region, and the operation of the project must take consideration of the conditions and characteristics of the minorities and formulate measures that will benefit them in a culturally appropriate manner.

This ethnic minority development plan is prepared to ensure Hui are not implicitly excluded from project benefits due to perceived lack of capacity, and to ensure they benefit from capacity building measures, associative structures and production arrangements as other project beneficiaries. No potential negative impacts on their culture, production or social systems are assumed.
