Description
The report and recommendation of the President for the proposed Polytechnic Education Development Project in Indonesia describes the terms and conditions for the approval of the Board of Directors of ADB.
The project will improve the quality and relevance of polytechnic education to support workforce development in line with employers’ needs in five priority industry subsectors identified as critical to the success of the government’s Master Plan for Acceleration and Expansion of Indonesia’s Economic Development (MP3EI), 2011–2025. The project will support key policy reforms to strengthen polytechnic education through an integrated approach addressing the priorities of equitable access, graduate employment outcomes, subsector management, and study program quality and relevance.
