Description
This provides the final report prepared by consultants for the regional technical assistance, Promoting Energy Efficiency in the Pacific (PEEP). It describes project objectives, priority pilot projects, and provides an energy efficiency assessment of participating countries as well as recommendations for future energy efficiency programs.
Priority pilot projects in each of the five PEEP countries were successfully implemented with local partners. The project identified and implemented real and practical residential CFL, LED street lighting and energy retrofit measures that are at the core of the approved Global Environment Facility (GEF) successor PEEP-2 project.
