Description
This consultant report prepared under the regional project 'Promoting Gender-Inclusive Growth in Central and West Asia Developing Member Countries', draws from national assessments conducted in all the relevant countries, and provides a baseline of current capacity in the field of gender statistics.
As part of the first stage of this multiyear project, its purpose is to help improve the capacity to produce and use sex-disaggregated statistics in the 10 member countries of the region: Armenia, Azerbaijan, and Georgia (the Southern Caucasus group); Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan (the Central Asia group); and Afghanistan and Pakistan (the West Asia group).
