| Document Type: | Reports and Recommendations of the President |

Description
The report and recommendation of the President for the proposed Public-Private Partnership Support Project in Viet Nam describes the terms and conditions for the approval of the Board of Directors of ADB.
The project will support the Government of Viet Nam’s initiatives to develop bankable and commercially viable public–private partnership (PPP) projects, and to promote a more conducive environment for PPP and utilize PPP as a catalyst for broader sector reforms. Under the project, ADB will provide funding for the establishment and operation of a project development facility (PDF) as a funding mechanism to support PPP project preparation activities, which will include the preparation of prefeasibility studies, detailed feasibility studies, and bid and contract documentation.
