Description

This initial environmental examination (IEE) has been prepared for the Baran Heritage Sites Subproject as part of Rajasthan Urban Infrastructure Development Project Phase II - Tranche 3. The main aspect for the scope of work at these sites is the area development and restoration of Dolmela Talab and restoration of town wall gates (Shahbad Gate) in Baran Town. These are not declared protected monuments/areas by Archeological Survey of India thus under the jurisdiction of Baran Municipal Council.

This IEE describes the environmental condition of the Subproject, including potential impact, formulation of mitigation measures, and preparation of institutional requirements and environmental monitoring.
