Description
This initial environmental examination has been prepared for the Jhalawar Heritage Sites Subproject as part of Rajasthan Urban Sector Development Investment Program Phase II - Tranche 3. The main aspect for the scope of work at these sites is area development and restoration of the heritage buildings of Garh Palace at Jhalawar and Jhalarpatan Fort at Jhalarapatan. These are not declared protected monuments/areas by Archeological Survey of India hence under the jurisdiction of Jhalawar Municipal Council.
This IEE describes the environmental condition of the Subproject, including potential impact, formulation of mitigation measures, and preparation of institutional requirements and environmental monitoring.
