Description

This addendum to the land acquisition and resettlement plan (LARP) for Section B of the Regional Power Transmission Interconnection Project in Afghanistan contains an assessment and measures, as well as time-bound actions and budgets, for the project components which have involuntary resettlement.

The impact covered in this addendum were identified only after the LARP for the section B was implemented. These impacts were not detectable during the census and DMS surveys of original section B LARP. 

This document covers the impacts and detail compensation costs and mechanisms relative to the construction of transmission line towers in section B in Kunduz Province.
