This Report and Recommendation of the President to the Board of Directors describes terms and conditions proposed for the Regional Power Transmission Project in Tajikistan, for the approval of the Board of Directors of ADB. The project will improve the reliability of the transmission system and supply to households and businesses. This will increase energy security, energy efficiency, and energy trade. It will also improve reform, governance, and the operational effectiveness of Barki Tojik. The outcome will be an expanded and modernized high-voltage transmission network (Russian translation).
