Description
This provides the initial poverty and social assessment conducted to identify people people who may be beneficially or adversely affected by the Roshan Phase III Expansion Project in Afghanistan and to assess the significance of social issues.
The project is expected to enhance the connectivity between remote areas of a geographically divided war-torn country. It will indirectly contribute to economic growth by creating employment and business opportunities in underdeveloped areas, promoting mobile phone based banking services and to assist in providing access to information, commercial markets and public service delivery.
