Description
This initial environmental examination (IEE) describes the environmental conditions and addresses the environmental safeguard concerns associated with the reconstruction of highway A373/4P-112 "Fergana Ring Road" under Tranche 2 of the Second Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Corridor 2 Road Investment Program in Uzbekistan, including potential impact, formulation of mitigation measures, and preparation of institutional requirements and environmental monitoring for the project. The project aims to convert the twolane road into a four-lane road by improving, rehabilitating, and reconstructing the existing road.
