| Date: | September 2012 |

| Subject: | |
| Document Type: | Completion Reports / TA Completion Reports |
| Project Number: | 41040-012 |
Description
This technical assistance (TA) completion report for the Strengthening Country Diagnosis and Analysis of Binding Development Constraints in Selected Developing Member Countries project describes the expected impact, outcome and outputs, conduct of activities, evaluation and achievement of outcome, assessment and rating, major lessons, recommendations and follow-up actions.
The TA undertook country diagnostic studies for Indonesia, Nepal, Papua New Guinea, and the Philippines. The findings from these studies provided key input to the formulation of national medium term development plans such as the formulation of the Medium Term Philippine Development Plan 2011-2016. Similarly, the studies also contributed to the formulation of Nepal and Indonesia’s current medium term development plans.
Developing Member Country (DMC) governments have also found the reports of country diagnostic studies to be a useful basis for engaging and expanding their policy dialogues with development partners, including ADB.
The TA is rated successful.
