Description
Technical Assistance Completion Reports for Strengthening Project Loan Appraisal and Risk Management of the Bank for Agriculture and Agricultural Cooperatives in Thailand. The objective of the TA was to assist BAAC strengthen its credit operation, risk management, and training capacities. The TA comprised three components: First, it would enhance BAAC's capacity to undertake lending for rural enterprises by strengthening subloan appraisal and supervision procedures, and environmental due diligence. Second, it would develop and introduce risk management policies and procedures, and formulate a strategy for diversifying the range of banking services offered to customers. Third, the TA would prepare a long-term training plan for BAAC.
