Description
This is a technical assistance completion report for the Strengthening Water Resources Management in Guiyang project describing expected impact, outcome and outputs, conduct of activities, evaluation and achievement of outcome, assessment and rating, major lessons, recommendations and follow-up actions.
The technical assistance project is rated as successful. All activities planned under the TA were effectively completed with satisfactory performance of the consultants and active participation of the Guiyang municipal government (GMG). The GMG was satisfied with the TA findings, adopted the TA project’s recommendations, and considered them useful to its implementation of the Integrated Water Resources Master Plan (2006–2020). The TA findings will be disseminated through the knowledge products and workshops to be conducted under the Guiyang Integrated Water Resources Management Sector Project.
