| Document Type: | Reports and Recommendations of the President |
| Project Number: | 42177-013 |
Description
The Report and Recommendation of the President describes terms and conditions proposed for the proposed loan, technical assistance grant, and administration of grant to Bangladesh for the Urban Primary Health Care Services Delivery Project, for the approval of ADB's Board of Directors.
The project aims to improve the health of the urban poor in Bangladesh by providing them with better access to efficient, effective, and sustainable primary health care (PHC) services. Its goal is to ensure that at least 30% of each of the services to be provided under the project goes to the poor. It also builds upon two previous urban primary health care (PHC) projects supported by ADB in Bangladesh to develop and strengthen institutional capacity for sustainable delivery of pro-poor primary health services in urban areas through public–private partnerships (PPPs).
