| Date: | July 2012 |
| Country: | |
| Subject: | |
| Document Type: | Resettlement Planning Documents |
| Project Number: | 43405-023 |
Description
This involuntary resettlement due diligence report for the Anaklia subproject under the Urban Services Improvement Investment Program in Georgia is provided as part of due diligence essential to abiding objectivity by undertaking fact finding assessment designed to protect the subproject by making sure that all factors were duly considered before committing to it.
The result of this Due Diligence study concludes that there should be no issues of land acquisition and resettlement related to this subproject, if the proposal for infrastructure improvement does not change substantially, for instance realignment of water transmission lines or selection of new spot for locating the Reservoir.
