Description
Report and recommendation of the President describing terms and conditions proposed for the Water Resources Project Preparatory Facility in Nepal, for the approval of the Board of Directors of ADB.
The project's impact will be accelerated expansion of areas covered by irrigation, drainage and flood control infrastructure. The outcome will be improved readiness of water resources management projects for implementation. The Project's expected outputs are detailed feasibility studies for high priority water resources projects undertaken; environmental, social, and technical capacity of the Department of Irrigation and the Department of Water Induced Disaster Prevention improved; Irrigation Master Plan updated; and efficient project management.
