| Date: | February 2000 |
| Country: | |
| Subject: | |
| Document Type: | Completion Reports / TA Completion Reports |
Description
The TA was designed to be conducted in two phases. The first phase of two months was supposed to conduct preparatory work such as policy review, analysis of the institutional capacity of Department of Soil Conservation and Watershed Management (DSCWM) and potential partner organizations, and updating of relevant data to assist in the assessment and selection of the project area. The comprehensive review would be carried out by ADB to confirm the commitment of the Government and capability of Ministry of Forests and Soil Conservation (MFSC) to implement an ensuing loan project. The second phase of five months was supposed to select the project area and prepare an investment project.
