Description
The Xinjiang Municipal Infrastructure and Environmental Improvement Project covers three border cities and areas (Alashankou Land Port, Kanas Scenic Region, and Yining City) in the northwestern region of XUAR. The present transport infrastructure and services cannot meet the increasing traffic and utility service demands in the project areas. This Monitoring and Evaluation Report covers the Kanas Component for 2009.
