Description
This environmental impact assessment (EIA) report for the Yunnan Integrated Road Network Development Project in the People's Republic of China includes updated information of the Express EIA after the official approval and clearance by the government. It incorporates more detailed alignment analysis and additional changes and newly available information in the preliminary design, as well as requirements of ADB's Safeguard Policy Statement (2009). It examines social and environmental consequences of the Project prior to execution and provides information to decision makers and the public about the environmental implications of proposed actions before decisions are made. It is provided as supporting document to the Report and Recommendation of the President to the Board of Directors.
