Date: October 2014
Type: Brochures and Flyers

The Clean Energy Program of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) is multi-pronged. The clean energy program seeks to meet energy security needs, facilitate a transition to a low-carbon economy, provide universal access to energy, and achieve ADB’s vision of a region free of poverty. This flyer provides an updated information on ADB's clean energy bonds program and figures for 2013.

ADB continues its commitment to a policy of supporting clean energy development in as many sectors and ways as possible. Clean energy investments will provide 1,390 megawatts of renewable energy generation capacity, save 1.987 terawatt-hours of electricity and 4,691 terajoules in fuel per year, and reduce annual greenhouse gas emissions by 7.06 million tons of carbon dioxide equivalent.

ADB has raised over $820 million of clean energy bonds since 2010.
