Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation Program: Eleventh Ministerial Conference

Description
The 11th Central Asia Regional Economic Cooperation (CAREC) Ministerial Conference was held on 29-30 October 2012 in Wuhan, Hubei Province, People‘s Republic of China. The Conference consisted of two related events: (i) the Senior Officials' Meeting (SOM) held on 29 October, and (ii) the Ministerial Meeting (MM) on 30 October.
The theme of the Conference was - Implementing CAREC 2020: Vision and Action. The objectives of the Conference were to: (i) review the progress made in the CAREC Program during the past year; and (ii) consider the Wuhan Action Plan, a compendium of priority actions that the CAREC countries will undertake to implement CAREC 2020 – the 10-year strategic framework for the CAREC program, which was endorsed at the 10th CAREC Ministerial Conference held in Baku, Azerbaijan in November 2011.
