| Type: | Papers and Briefs |
| Series: | Social Protection Project Briefs |
Description
This brief explores the Asian Development Bank's (ADB) Technical Assistance to Lao PDR for Social Protection in the Lao PDR: Issues and Options. The TA project aimed to develop a greater understanding of the risks and vulnerabilities faced by the country and to propose recommendations to mitigate these. The TA project supported the conduct of a study that would undertake detailed labor market assessment, look into the existing informal and formal social protection strategies, provide an assessment of the key actors, and formulate recommendations for ADB on future directions.
