The ADB program in the Federated States of Micronesia has provided loans, grants and technical assistance to grow the country's economy and improve the lives of people, particularly the poor, women, children and other vulnerable groups.

ADB has been working with the Federated States of Micronesia since 1990, approving loans, technical assistance, and grants worth $112.88 million.

ADB has historically supported good governance in the FSM, with a focus on economic management and accountability, while also promoting development of the country’s social and private sectors. By helping to address the country’s limitations in human resources management and staff development, ADB has supported the government’s efforts to increase institutional capacity for public sector management.
