Updated yearly, this ADB Fact Sheet provides social and economic indicators on Fiji as well as concise information on ADB's operations in the country and contact information.
ADB has partnered with the Government of Fiji since 1970. As of 31 December 2013, Fiji has received $317.26 million in loans and more than $27 million in technical assistance.
Following a coup in 2006, ADB’s operations in Fiji have been guided by the Approach to Reengagement. If, in September 2014, a democratically elected government is installed in a process that is acceptable domestically and internationally, ADB and development partner reengagement will follow.
