This brief explores the Asian Development Bank's (ADB) loan for Community-Based Early Childhood Development in the Kyrgyz Republic, designed to help the Government improve health, nutrition, and psychosocial development of young children between birth and 8 years of age, and contribute to the attainment of MDGs to reduce infant mortality rate and under-five mortality rate, and sustain universal primary education.
