Updated yearly, this ADB Country Fact Sheet provides social and economic indicators on Malaysia as well as concise information on ADB's operations in the country and contact information.
Malaysia is a founding member of ADB. After a lull of approximately 15 years without a country-level engagement, a Malaysia interim country partnership strategy (CPS) was adopted in November 2011. The interim CPS sets forth ADB’s reengagement with Malaysia and reflects ADB’s commitment to the realization of the Tenth Malaysia Plan. The interim CPS supports Malaysia on the national anchoring of regional cooperation and integration efforts, catalyzing private investments by developing bankable public-private partnerships, and highlighting knowledge partnerships.
