The ADB program in Nauru has provided loans, grants and technical assistance to grow the country’s economy and improve the lives of people, particularly the poor, women, children and other vulnerable groups.

ADB and Nauru have been working together since 1991, with approved loans, grants, and technical assistance amounting to over $25 million.

ADB has been helping the Government of Nauru strengthen its public financial management, raise the performance of state-owned enterprises, improve equitable service delivery, and address the country’s considerable infrastructure needs.
