Known as a reform-oriented country in the Pacific region, Samoa has achieved significant development gains through ADB support in education, infrastructure, and other public and private sectors. From 1966 through the end of 2009, Samoa received a total of $238 million from ADB in the form of loans, grants, and technical assistance.
