This update to the findings of the 2002 country assistance program evaluation for Mongolia assesses the performance of ADB strategies and assistance programs in the country during 1997-2007.

The special evaluation study evaluates the performance of ADB's public and private sector assistance related to the development of policy, legal and regulatory frameworks, and institutions for stock and bond markets from 1986 to 2006.
July 2008
Validates the completion report's assessment of the project aimed at promoting Mongolia's economic and social development through improved efficiency of the road sector by supporting policy and institutional reforms, upgrading priority sections of the state road networks, and developing capacity of local road construction and maintenance agencies. IED overall assessment: Highly successful.
