The 2014 Annual Evaluation Review assesses ADB’s operational performance in 2013, and the follow-up given to evaluation recommendations that Management agreed to. The report reviews recent evaluations and offers analysis, lessons and suggestions for operations and strategy development.

This 2010 Annual Evaluation Review reports on the accomplishments of the Independent Evaluation Department (IED) of the Asian Development Bank in 2009, highlighting key lessons identified from the department's evaluations.

The objectives of the 2009 AER are to (i) highlight IED activities in 2008, (ii) analyze the operations performance of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) based on completed self- and independent evaluations, and (iii) synthesize the key findings and lessons from 2008 evaluation studies to guide future ADB operations.

The purpose of the 2008 Annual Evaluation Review is to (i) outline the evaluation activities of OED in 2007, (ii) summarize the performance of ADB projects and programs as shown in the completed self- and independent evaluations, and (iii) synthesize the key findings and lessons from 2007 evaluation reports to guide future operations.

The purpose of the 2007 Annual Evaluation Review is to (i) outline the evaluation activities of OED in 2006, (ii) summarize the performance of ADB projects and programs as shown in the completed self- and independent evaluations, and (iii) synthesize the key findings and lessons from 2007 evaluation reports to guide future operations.

This 2006 Annual Evaluation Review (AER) of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) has two objectives: (i) identifying key factors that influence project success; and (ii) assessing the impact of the Operations Evaluation Department (OED) as measured by the degree to which OED’s recommendations are implemented. Most of the analysis in the report focuses on the first issue.

The 2005 Annual Evaluation Review differs from its predecessors in terms of structure, content, and analytical depth, and is the first step in turning the annual review into an annual review of development results.
