ONGOING EVALUATION. This country assistance program evaluation will be the first assessment of the country strategies and programs of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Tajikistan. The evaluation aims to draw forward-looking lessons and make recommendations for the next country partnership strategy of Tajikistan, and to provide an objective assessment and rating of the performance of ADB support to country and identify factors affecting such performance.

 

ONGOING EVALUATION. This country assistance program evaluation aims to provide an assessment and rating of the performance of ADB’s support to Pakistan and identify factors affecting such performance, and draw forward-looking lessons and make recommendations for the next country partnership strategy of Pakistan.

This first country assistance program evaluation report for Afghanistan provides an independent assessment of ADB‘s strategy and program in Afghanistan covering the period from ADB‘s reengagement with the country in 2002 through 2011. During this period, support approved by ADB totaled $2,732 million, 65% of which came from grants. 

This country assistance program evaluation assesses ADB’s country strategies and programs to support the Kyrgyz Republic from 1994 until 2010. ADB support was rated satisfactory, although major constraints and risks remain.
