ONGOING EVALUATION. This country assistance program evaluation will be the first assessment of the country strategies and programs of the Asian Development Bank (ADB) in Tajikistan. The evaluation aims to draw forward-looking lessons and make recommendations for the next country partnership strategy of Tajikistan, and to provide an objective assessment and rating of the performance of ADB support to country and identify factors affecting such performance.

 

ONGOING EVALUATION. This country assistance program evaluation aims to provide an assessment and rating of the performance of ADB’s support to Pakistan and identify factors affecting such performance, and draw forward-looking lessons and make recommendations for the next country partnership strategy of Pakistan.

This first country assistance program evaluation report for Afghanistan provides an independent assessment of ADB‘s strategy and program in Afghanistan covering the period from ADB‘s reengagement with the country in 2002 through 2011. During this period, support approved by ADB totaled $2,732 million, 65% of which came from grants. 

This country assistance program evaluation assesses ADB’s country strategies and programs to support the Kyrgyz Republic from 1994 until 2010. ADB support was rated satisfactory, although major constraints and risks remain. 

This country assistance program evaluation for Maldives assesses ADB's assistance, identifies factors affecting ADB's performance, and draws lessons and recommendations for improving ADB's future performance.

This country assistance program evaluation for Uzbekistan assesses ADB’s assistance, identifies factors affecting ADB’s performance, and draws lessons and recommendations for improving ADB’s future performance. This is the second country assistance program evaluation for Uzbekistan covering ADB’s support from 2002 to the end of 2009.

This country assistance program evaluation (CAPE) report presents an evaluation of ADB’s financial and technical assistance to Bhutan in the amount of $317 million that was ongoing or completed during 2001–2009.

This country assistance program evaluation is the second for Bangladesh, evaluating ADB's support for Bangladesh from 1999 to 2008, focusing on the 2005 country strategy, and covering 24 completed and 37 ongoing projects and programs.

This country assistance program evaluation assesses the performance of ADB's country strategies and assistance programs for Viet Nam during 1999-2008, and will be an input to the country partnership strategy for 2011-2015.

This update to the findings of the 2002 country assistance program evaluation for Mongolia assesses the performance of ADB strategies and assistance programs in the country during 1997-2007.
