Validates the completion report’s assessment of the project aimed to strengthen institutional capacity to ensure the delivery of basic skills training relevant to market needs and commensurate with the capacity of beneficiaries, increase access to basic skills training by expanding TVET and rehabilitating and establishing facilities, improve the quality of basic skills training by strengthening links with the private sector, and promote the use of basic skills by developing employment guidance and job placement services. The project also aimed to lower electricity cost and improve service which would eventually create jobs, provide more opportunities and improve the quality of rural life. Validates the completion report's assessment of the project aimed at resurfacing roads, improving slope stability and setting up a pilot equipment-leasing scheme in Bhutan. The project was expected to contribute to the integration of the domestic market, enhance market access, increase employment opportunities, stimulate private sector activity, improve road safety, and develop public-private partnerships.
