This performance evaluation report presents the independent evaluation of the AES Kelanitissa Power Project. It identifies the lessons from the project which can then be used to assist in the design and implementation of future ADB private sector operations in the region, particularly investments in similar projects.

This validation report seeks to validate the CPSFR's ratings and findings; identify reasons for deviations, if any; and assess the quality of the CPSFR.

This issue of the Learning Curves looked into the performance of ADB's public and private sector assistance related to the development of policy, legal and regulatory framework and institutions for stock and bond markets from 1986-2006.
