Second Danish Cooperation Fund for Technical Assistance
What is the fund?
The fund is a single-donor fund established in partnership with Denmark through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs in 2003.
What are the priorities?
The fund focuses on projects supporting national poverty reduction programs and the achievement of the Millennium Development Goals and gender equality.
What kind of activities will be financed from the fund?
Activities will consist of project preparation, training and advisory services, institutional support or other technical assistance services and other activities which may be agreed upon between the Ministry and ADB.
Who is eligible to receive the grant?
The recipients of the fund shall be Bangladesh, Bhutan, Nepal, and Viet Nam, as well as all developing member countries with an annual per capita gross national product (GNP) below $2,500 and regional activities involving subgroups of these member countries.
Who supports the fund?
Denmark, through its Ministry of Foreign Affairs, supports this fund.
