Results 1-2 of 2 for Nepal Gender Equality Results in ADB Projects

As part of the implementation review of its Policy on Gender and Development, ADB conducted rapid gender assessments of 12 projects under implementation in Bangladesh, Cambodia, Nepal and Pakistan to determine whether the inclusion of gender action plans (GAPs) in project design improve results for women.
April 2005
This report discusses the gender equality results achieved for three projects in Nepal, summarizes factors that enhanced the quality of project design and implementation, and makes recommendations to maximize gender equity as a driver of change.
