Civil Aviation

ADB supports the growth of the aviation industry by providing assistance for airport development and civil aviation administration. Afghanistan, Cambodia, Indonesia, Mongolia, Lao People's Democratic Republic, Nepal and Philippines have received recent aviation-related assistance.

ADB has also supported the establishment of autonomous commercially based civil aviation agencies in Nepal and Mongolia and to a lesser extent in the Lao PDR.
