 Anhui Environmental Improvement Project in the People's Republic of China2008 In 1996, ADB extended two loans to reduce air, wastewater and solid waste pollution in Hefei and Chaohu, the cities embracing Chao Lake. In 2005, the project was rated successful. Industrial wastewater discharged was reduced and municipal wastewater treatment was increased. Water quality in Chao Lake was improved. But can these environmental problems be fully addressed by one project? |

Initially, five stations bring passengers between the cities of Manila and Makati.
