Water

Landlocked and mountainous Armenia has enough water resources for its more than 3 million people. But managing these resources is proving to be quite a challenge. Achieving the Millennium Development Goal on Water Supply will be easy, as 99% of urban areas and 75% of rural areas have water coverage. The country, however, needs to double its efforts in sanitation improvements in both cities and rural communities.
