Water

Mongolia is slightly off-track in achieving the Millennium Development Goals in water supply and sanitation, but this is probably because of its sparse population. Expansion of water supply coverage is only going as far as the population growth rate. A more immediate concern is the increasing in-migration in capital city Ulanbaatar and other urbans centers that tax water supply, sanitation, and other public services.
