Water

Myanmar is the only country in Southeast Asia that is expected to meet the water and sanitation targets of the Millennium Development Goals. With an agricultural economy that relies heavily on rice production, the country needs better irrigation infrastructure and integrated water resources management to ensure agricultural productivity.
