One of the poorest in Asia, Nepal’s water supply and sanitation coverage is moving forward , but the political conflict in the country threatens its water sector. Fortunately, a good dose of investments coming in from donors and increased civil society participation, particularly from women’s groups, are countering the downward trend and bringing water to Nepal’s thirsty regions.
